Strategic Vision

Mundo Minerals has a clearly defined strategy to establish a sustainable production base in the near-term of ~80,000 ounces of gold per annum at world-competitive cash operating costs from its portfolio of gold projects in Peru and Brazil, South America.

The immediate growth strategy is based on:

  • completing the Feasibility Study at the high-grade Torrecillas Gold Project in Peru with the objective of developing commercial production at a +15g/t Au head grade and forecast cash cost of <US$500/oz; and
  • increasing the production profile and maximising operational efficiencies from the Engenho Gold Project in Brazil, increasing production towards 25,000 ounces per annum at a forecast cash cost of <US$650/oz through the development of the new Crista open pit mine with emerging additional production from the nearby Olhos open pit.

This production base will generate substantial free cash flow which the Company intends to utilise to progress its emerging pipeline of exploration and development assets in South America to deliver ongoing growth.

Mundo Minerals has an experienced and focused management team with vast regional experience in the countries where it operates. This team is committed to delivering efficient asset management, proactive growth opportunity identification and strong regional knowledge to effectively drive the asset development process.
